Adele tells Ellen DeGeneres she 'cried all day' after botched Grammys performance video
Singing superstar Adele's revealed she struggled to cope after her Grammys performance was ruined by sound problems, and she spent all of the following day in tears.
And the 'Hello' singer says if it ever happens again, she'll stop the show and make them fix the sound before she'll continue - even if it's on live TV.
Adele revealed her distress over the bungled performance on Ellen DeGeneres' TV show on Thursday.

"Sound check was great, it went really well, I was really excited, then during the the changeover, in the ad break, the microphones fell onto the piano strings, which is what the guitar noise was," she told DeGeneres.
Adele faced numerous sound issues during her performance.
"Some people thought it was Bieber rehearsing, but it wasn't him," Adele said, to laughs from the audience.
"And it kind of put the whole thing off really."
Adele said she immediately knew what the problem was, and wanted to turn around and pick up the fallen microphone, "but I froze".
She said she was "so embarrassed" by the performance,

"I cried pretty much all day yesterday. I'm just embarrassed. But in fairness, I would have cried if it had gone really well as well. If it had been a standout performance, I would have cried as well. I always cry. But I kept spontaneously bursting into tears yesterday."
However, the star, added: "I actually felt like it went well ... I'm always a bit pitchy anyway!"
"It wasn't too bad - I treated myself to a burger and a beer."
The star also revealed she gets stage fright "more than ever" these days.
"I just feel [like] the more successful I get, the more pressure there is."
She added: "I don't feel like it could go that much worse than the Grammys, though, so I feel like I'm alright now. Everything that happens is, like, dust it off."
Adele said if it hadn't been live on TV, she would have stopped and made a joke, while the sound was sorted out.
"Next time, I will. Next time I have any sound issues, I am going to stop, like 'sorry, that's not working for me, if we have time to do it again, let's do it. Otherwise, bye'!" she said, to raucous applause from the audience.
